Casa 1 - version #2

Working on the house brought new ideas that affected the design of the tiny villa in Ustica. This new design features a huge porch in front of the house itself, facing the sea. The bedrooms have a direct contact with the castle through new windows that allow the view right from the first moment people open the doors.

Jacopo Famularo

After earning my Bachelor degree of Science in Architecture at IUAV university in Venice, I decided to move to Milan as the idea of changing school and seeing things from different perspectives have always thrilled me. I received a Master degree in Architecture in 2016 from Politecnico di Milano, thanks to which I had the chance to study abroad (at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia) and to work with great architects like Peter Eisenman, whom I worked with in New York City between 2015 and 2016; Marcio and Gabriel Kogan, whom I worked with as a teaching assistant between 2016 and 2017 and, in the end, in Scotland with Richard Murphy Architects in 2017.

I'm always looking for new experiences, new adventures and new challanges.

I love photography and some of my architectural pictures have been featured on Divisare (most important architectural online magazine in Italy) and Richard Murphy's book on Carlo Scarpa and Castelvecchio.
